Comments:
Good long run this morning. A little sore from yesterday so I started out slow down 16th. I had to pee again. No spots in Carnarvon Park so I turned up and headed straight to Kitsilano Beach and found open potties. Felt much better and made my way around the bike route along the beach. Picked up the pace a little bit there. Maybe it was because it rain/hail/snowed all at once right on the edge of the water. Nice route that's as close to downtown as I have gotten so far. Its cool how the buildings come right up to the water. Continued around under Burrard bridge and cut down to the Greenway and made my way back once I hit 20th. Wind was picking up out of the south and I started to struggle. Last few miles felt pretty slow but I had put some serious work in up to that point. Legs didnt feel too sore or anything, just fatigued there at the end. Good route though, especially on a nice weather day the water would be quite beautiful and refreshing. But today was just typical Vancouver winter weather.
Essentials: Stretch
Good stretch when I got back. Need to hydrate a little more and refuel, broke 1hr for first time in a while, getting my milage up for sure. Got that post long run tiredness in my legs, great feeling.
