Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Spent most of the day in lab. Again, its a long weekend but also a circuit breaker lock down, so what are we supposed to do? I was tired when I got back home but really knew I should get outside and move around. Calves still sore from yesterday so I went easy to test the waters. Left calf is locked up like a lead pipe I can feel the tightness. Shake out to the track at Queen Elizabeth and I did warm up drills followed by two sets of and easy 800m. Thats about all I could really take in. That thang is just so tight. Right calf felt fine once I got warmed up. Called it what is is and jogged home easy. Hey on the other side, that shows I have been pushing my limits and getting better. But now need to keep it easy and safe and roll through this tightness.
Essentials: Stretch, roll
Good stretch and tried to roll out when I got back. Again, could feel the lockup section down there. Ooof. Shoes look fine but I think this has been building up, I could tell my calves were the sorest part of my body past few weeks. Sleeve might be a good investment too, I don't have anything with me now.
