Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
All day inside grinding. Lots of Zoom too, but it was good. I gave a good group meeting presentation also. Needed to unwind and get outside since the weather was perfect, just perfect today. Sun, breeze, clear skies, not too hot (I see the heatwave in the southwest and god damn we are so fuckin screwed...) Anyways comfortable on the run too. I was worried my blisters would be bad but I was surprised, didnt feel them at all. That was good so I decided to keep going all the way to Arbutus then loop back past Trafalgar. Coming back up the ridge was tough, I had to grind up. I was keeping pace with this older guy behind me who always caught up when I stopped to cross the street. He was slappin his feel so hard I could hear him coming up behind me. Felt good to get the grind going after a few days off, legs certainly needed that and why not take advantage of the nice weather.
Essentials: Stretch
Good stretch when I got back, might need to roll a little bit more but calves feel really good in fact. New shoes must be helping me out this week.
