HWS 217 Journal #2

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: Outdoors, ~10 degrees, mostly clear ground

Comments:
Familiarized ourselves with the short and long warm-ups, as well as with track rules, the 2 mile time trial start and end locations, and the area where we will mostly do our long runs. Made friends with Marty, learned we are from the same area outside of Rochester and that we ran pretty similar paces in High School! Run itself went great, very casual pace with lots of starts and stops: I didn't bother timing it because it was so stop and go. Did not cooldown afterwards, but did sign up for a PlanetFitness Membership, inspired by this course to have something to chronicle alongside the cardiovascular training.
