Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Up and out for my long run today. It was again kinda breezy and chilly at points. Nice when sun came out but that was not as often as I would have liked. Started out getting down to 12th then heading straight east. I forgot how many stoplights there were and how busy it was. Straight shot wasn't as boring as it sounds, I was feeling alright. At Cambie, decided I could go a little more, to 35 mins. Made it to Ontario St, which is farthest east I have gotten. Came back all the way on King Edward to keep it easy especially up the hills. Think I held pace ok throughout and noticed that each stop light I wasn't too out of breath, but legs were feeling it. Made my living on the pavement and sidewalks today. Got to get used to the pound. Finished up strong but not that quickly.
Essentials: Stretch, roll
Walked off a little bit outside then stretched so I could get a little extra sunlight. Hammies are tight and knees a little creaky, can certainly feel the crush of the concrete. Luckily I get some days off to recover. Had to roll those out too. Keep an eye on it haven't been sore or strained in a while cause I have been running such easy mileage. Feels great to go that far though and grind it out.
