Comments:
Jogged extended way to track, accelerated warmup, then off I went with 4x1200m + 4x200m, with 4-ish in mind for the former and no particular pace in mind for the latter. Full lap in between 12s and half lap between 200s, For the 1200s, tried working on not exploding out the gate and instead increasing the pace as I went. Splits were 4:12, 4:08, 4:07, 4:08. Tried to get out as fast as I could on the 200s and just maintain through the last 50m. Splits were 34 mid, 35 lo, 33 lo, and 32 lo. Jogged a sec before heading on extended cooldown back home. Pleasantly surprised with the way this went, considering the load this past 2 weeks. Shorter and faster stuff on the horizon. Stretched and strength after. Long tomorrow, easy Sunday.
