Giles Long Run

Comments:
Daylights savings kinda messed me up but it was good for running and I adjusted quickly. Watched some of the NYC Marathon before heading out. It was warm out but I didnt expect to sweat as much as I did. Ran up through Giles first, then up a little more to the East Hill recway onto campus, through Beebe Lake and North Campus, then cut along top of Libe Slope before coming down the hill on Cascasilla, Court and Geneva. It was hard work up the hills but the pace didnt phase me. Made it work out in the end because I got the down hill and was then able to kick it hard once I got onto the flats. Felt pretty good there. First real long run in a while glad to see I can get up and bust that out. Definitely beat from the heat and need to rehydrate though. Doesn't feel like late year running right now.

Essentials: Stretch

Did some standing around but got into a good stretch. Going to need it been feeling pretty sore in the AM lately and not running yesterday made me feel all chunky. Not marathon standards today but I love getting in mileage on days like today.
