Wow that was a big one! Big Kuma Sabie! run run run, don't stop run run run. Oh shit I forgot my energy gels at home. Man I need to pee, why did I have several big cups of water before leaving? Damned where did all these people come from, and why the hell don't people who see me running directly at them not move? So I was running through the exit to the Fugtag event downtown, and it looked like 1000's of people showed up, but can't you see I'm running? Can't you tell I've been at it for 45 minutes already and I still have almost 2 more hours of running? Where is the runner's lane?
Outside of those frustrations, I made it! I pushed my body, slowly, but sucessfully 15 miles. That is a long way, and more than 1/2 a marathon. I'm glowing a little right now.
Onward and upward! I put my schedule together today and it is going to start getting more difficult, next week 12, then 18, then into the 20 a week after that. I am going to run 3 20 mile runs before the marathon. I will have to remember not to drink the night before my big runs and don't forget Sober October!
