Didnt have to get to CVG too early but it was a longish travel day. Flight out to NYC was fine, LaGuardia is looking nice these days! I had a fun ride out to BNL and the hotel in the new development area across the street in Yaphank. I really wanted to stay in Cavendish, because maybe then I could have gone for a run, but didnt bring my stuff. I got to the hotel, hung around a little and finished up some reviews, then went and walked around just to see what was going on. It was spooky how built up it got, and reminded me everything I didnt like about LI. Expensive looking but likely cheap housing condos in the middle of nowhere. Other thing I hate is being constrained by a car. I had a lot of time to kill today and if I rented a car probably could have gone over to Stony Brook and visited. Instead hung around an prepped for the big day tomorrow.
