Comments:
Earliest morning so far for the Adhesion Society 5k fun run. There were a lot of people that got up which was great! I had no idea what to expect. We started the riverfront then ran up to Bay Street and down to Forsyth with a loop and back. I made it up front and jogged with some of the quicker people, chatting with some grad students and such. With a few blocks to go, some folks threw the jets on and started sprinting. It was still dark out and the centrury old streets were not forgiving so I stuck back. We also had to cross a busy street on right infront of the hotel. So I think I ended up 4th. I realized that was not enough, so I ran down to the park and back again on my own, just shaking out and seeing the rest of the runners make their way back.
Essentials:
Again, didnt have a ton of time to regroup clean up and get to breakfast but it didnt really matter. I didnt run all that hard and felt pretty comfortable in fact today. The run was fun though I am so glad that so many people signed up and got up early to run it.
