Tired this morning but I got up for breakfast early and got out early too. I really wanted to hit the museums before the rush, as suggested by Rick. It was kinda rainy today, change up from yesterday. I headed straight to Djugarden, a large park and green space thats very historic from the origins of Stockholm. Walked from the busy business and shopping over to along the old waterfront was really cool. Also it was Monday, first work day and there were a lot of people out getting their day started. It was a solid walk but I headed to the Vasa Museum first. Rick say this is one of the top museums in Europe and he was right. It was really legit and cool and I spend several hours there. It got really crowded too so I was glad I went early. Its an old wooden ship that sank immediately into its maiden voyage but was preserved in the brackish water of the harbor. It was raised in 1960s and moved all together into this awesome museum. After seeing the boat I grabbed a hot dog then tried to make my way to Skansen, an outdoor museum and zoo. Kinda like a Colonial Williamsburg but more chill and you can just wander around and do what you want. It was nice to see preservations of old Sweden. The animals were awesome too. You could again spend hours there. I did everything I could see in the park, taking my time. I was getting tired so I took a few rests at park benches and tables. Rain had gone away and it was just a solid day with solid temperatures. I heard some more of the band music and a helicopter was hovering about the city. Turned out Macron was visiting the Parliament and made a big hoopla out of it. I got bored at Skansen and decided to walk back and find some dinner. It was a pretty long walk and I bumped into Ostermalm, a pretty nice upscale neighborhood I had not explored yet. Wandered over to an Westside Market style food hall suggested by Rick. In fact is was kinda weird it looked almost exactly like Westside Market but a little less crowded and just filled with fish. I didnt want to eat dinner too early so I popped into a church (Hedvig Eleonora) near by and sat there for a while. Someone just popped in and started playing the organ, which was amazing to listen too in the church. It was like an impromptu personal concert and I bet Rick would have been proud of me. The market was a little intimidating for me so I just got a salad to go (haven't eaten regularly in a while) and went down to the water to just chill and people watch. Walk back home through my normal spots was nice Im starting to get used to the city now. Mileage today was real solid clocked in at 11.1 miles. I was totally fine to call it there and just chill for the rest of the night.
