Debated whether or not I wanted to race on Friday.
Coach had me run a few 400s today..73, 70, 62
No sub 60, damn, I'm so disappointed. Now Brett can keep giving me shit.
Didn't feel bad, but I don't think my legs could take a race. Besides, even if they could, I'm not going to run a race just to prove that I still can. That's stupid. I'll race when I want to and because I want to, not just because some asshole is giving me shit about being fat, slow and out of shape.
I'm done with three things this Lent:
1.)Cheeseburgers
2.)Talking about what I'm "going to do." Note to self: no one wants to hear it, but they all want to see it. So from now on, I'm just going to shut up, train, and take things as they come.
