Wake Forest: Cross Country Trails
With Dave, drills, stretch, felt a little rushed because they started our race right after the women's but I managed to get all of my warmup routine in
Wake Forest Open
Surprised myself with this race, started off a little eradic trying to settle in on 78 pace for my goal time of 32:30, ended up leading a small pack with Carter right behind me for the first 5k (16:00), soon ended up by myself and started dropping consistent 75s according to Coach and I didn't believe her, Cromer tried early on for me to lean forward more but stopped because if it isn't broke, don't fix it, realized with about a mile or so to go that I could break 32 minutes, kicked for about the last lap (70 apparently), to finish well under 32 minutes with a 1:30 PR, one of the few races that I can remember where I negative split, can't wait to see what I can do in the 5k outdoors, 12th place, perfect racing conditions

With Dave and Carter, overheard some students saying that it was going to get messy tonight, some girls wished us luck tomorrow, plenty of time to stretch because the bus was late, 10 min full leg ice bath in the tub at the hotel
