Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
warmed up alone from taft over to the VA hospital down to wade park to the track.
1015 on the track with elaine.
drills. lap of striders.
3200 meter rundown. supposed to start at 86 and end at 79. didn't go amazingly. splits were 86, 85, 83, 84, 85, 91, and last 800 was 2:54, no quarter splits.
not sure how long the rest was, but followed with 2x 1 mile tempo on the michigan loop. these didn't go so hot either. supposed to hit 5:45, was 6:02 on the first one, so coach told elaine to back it off to 6:20 for the last one and she hit right on.
not the best workout for either of us, but i was glad i was able to help as much as possible. i feel really out of shape though.
cooldown back the way i came, but over by the art museum, down to mlk up to euclid, back on east to taft.
stretch, abs in my room. my roommate woke up as i was doing abs and there was an awkward 30 seconds or so. pushups.
