Comments:
Warmup to MLK, drills.
5 Miles at a target pace of 6:05-6:15, we said screw that we're going for 6:00. Started with Grese, Flick and Dong.
First mile was a little slow, picked it up in mile 2 and Grese took off after that while Dong fell back. Alex and I stayed together and were right on pace for miles 3 and 4, but he fell off during the last mile some, right after we picked up Peter, who I'm glad stayed with me all the way to the end. My left shin was tight after mile 1 but I just kind of tried to ignore it.
6:06, 5:52, 5:58, 5:56, 5:50 HR was 172 and it felt easy.
Mile to the track, first 300, bathroom break, another 300 and called it quits because of stomach issues. Slow cooldown through campus back to Veale.
Strength Circuit 2x, Stretch, Abs, Hips, Roll, Ice Bath.
