Was pretty impressed with the whole environment of the race today. Had a parade, lots of food, rides and such. Now for the race. Low key and I kept my approach low key. Warmed up alone and out of sight and got ready the same. Hip was good and loose, could barely feel it the first quarter mile but after that all was good. I took the first 3/4 mile easy, when I got to the small hills I took off. There were no mile splits so I don't know how well I did through out the race just only the final result. My body handled the pace real well today can't wait to see how I do against compitition. Need some more speed workouts though, my strength is coming back.
