Last Loooong Run Before Philly

Comments:
I eased into the run by running the Big Spring loop down to Beshore farms and around Fairview Park onto the J&B's loop before stopping at the bottom of Sand Spur (7.5).

I then took off most of my gear (since it was rather chilly) and proceeded to run the 4.2 mile loop at marathon pace. I must have accidentally stopped my watch during the faster pace because when I calculated my time at the end, it came out to 5:30/mile. I knew where the approximate mile marks were on the course and I was consistently running just under 6 min/mile or right on 6. The back of my legs were beginning to tighten up as I neared the end of my run. However, I'm doubtful that the Philly course will be as hilly as the run I just completed today. Overall, I'm pleased with how today's run went and I'm anxious for Philly in two weeks.
