Forest Hills Long

January 16, 2011 (Afternoon)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: Chilly

Comments:
Veale up Edgehill to Parkway to Superior through Forest Hills to Lee to Henley to Brewster to Northvale to Oakhill Loop, back Hereford to Rumson to Newbury to Mayfield to Cumberland to Euclid Heights to Woodward to Berkshire to Washington to East Overlook back to Veale with Tim Smith (thanks for remembering where we went, I definitely missed some spots when trying to map it out on my own!). Added two miles on the Veale track afterwards to make it actually a long run.

Felt pretty decent, snow was a little annoying but not too bad. Some interesting conversations about local politics (OH and NJ, and Cuyahoga county) made the time pass easily, as did the fresh scenery. Most of the roads we covered during this run were new for me, so that was nice. On a side note, this is one of very few runs I've had that I haven't spent much time focusing on the run itself or the upcoming season. Nice to do that every once in a while.

Also, though unimpressive, new weekly mileage high.

Stretch and roll afterwards.
