My left foot, my left foot...

February 5, 2011 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: Cloudy and cold

Comments:
hurts much more than the right one.

Veale, Euclid, Lakeview Cemetery
Resting HR: 64. Sleep: 7 hr. Woke up about an hour before my alarm.
With the distance crew, drills.

Lakeview Cemetery
4 * 400m hills/w downhill recovery, my left foot was bothering me on the first couple of hills, but I thought it was just tight and would loosen up after awhile, the pain did not lessen and felt like a shooting pain at the base of my second and third toes, it was clearly affecting my steps especially on the downhill sections, talked to Coach and we decided to shut it down for today, really frustrating especially with how my season started out, talked to Chris when we got back to Veale, might be a stress fracture or some tedonitis, on crunches for now to keep the weight off of it, 10 min foot ice bath, seeing a doctor tomorrow and plan on taking the day completely off, hope that whatever it is, we caught it soon enough that my last collegiate season is not over.
