Comments:
Thunderstorming all day. We have had crazy weather on workout days. Anyways we were determined to go outside. Did a warm up over to the outdoor track via little italy. It was really rainy I didnt like having my glasses on. Felt sore from the workouts over the weekend. my hips was really tender. Stretched it out nicely and did drills at the track, then didnt really thing much of it.
Started out with 2 tempo miles on the Michigan loop. Kinda feel into the back, but still was running strong. The second one, my legs felt weaker, and I was further behind and by myself the whole time. Ehh it was faster than the Michigan I did friday...
Next went onto the track to do 4 x 400 over 4 hurdles. The track was wet, my clothes and shoes were soaked also. The orthotics were slipping around which made it kinda awkward. Should have brought the spikes. Didnt time them but they felt strong throughout. Stuttered half the time, and surged and killed it the other half. Wasnt that tired going over which is good. Just get me out on that track and Ill go.
Cool down back as the weather was getting worse. Then did 2 laps on the indoor track just to add in. Then lifted it was the same as last week pretty standard. Back upstairs for stretch, roll, L7, leg hang, ice, abs and buddies with David. Felt fine at the end of practice, but my hip was sore again when I got back to my room. I feel like I am still doing well. Hurdling and fitness are good on their own, time to wrap it all together.
