morning workout

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
Best time to get it in today. I woke up, biked down to northside, and got right on it. Stomach hurt a little because I didnt get a very good breakfast. Corey wanted to go and get his watch, so we warmed up to veale and back. It was getting nice out at this time, but still was chilly enough for the long sleeve. Did the medium warm up drills, then some over unders, and was then ready to get the workout on.

The plan was 4 x 1000 at tempo pace over barriers. Brooke was in there too so we alternated who got to use which barrier. It was tempo (3:45 pace), so it was much slower, it was about form and confidence. Splits were

3:47, 3:42, 3:35, 3:29

These barriers felt very good. I was hitting them strong, the landing wasnt great. I was feeling the tiredness, but still got faster. Very natural feel. I like this.

Then Brooke and I did some 200 accelerations, like we finishing a race, those felt strong.

Stretched, rolled, L7 on the infield with everyone before biking to Veale to shower. Then I ate at Leutner, havnt done that in a while. This seems to be my last workout here. Ill get in another good one on Wed and Fri I think.
