Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
I honestly forgot how long a Giles was (I used to know all these runs) but I though it would be nice to get some hills and some trails in. Went out from the high school right before school got out. It was sunny out, but not too warm. I felt sluggish at the beginning, but a lot better at the end. I actually added on and went down Renwick. Felt good overall, much better than yesterday. The hills were tough though... What a shame I wont be able to train on them this summer.
Got back, modified was out on the track, but Matt had already put up the barriers. He was on a warm up, so I hung out for a while, then he started. I did some run throughs, the went from 1st barrier before water to water pit. It wasnt full, but I still did the push offs. I could feel a crouching down which isnt good. The last ones were a lot more powerful, with better apporaches. A bad approach lead to a crouch, where when I hit it right on I pushed off and came out better. The other barriers were really good. Low, smooth, minimal stutter, and strong off. I really thing I got that down, its the running inbetween and the endurance.
Stretched around with Owen and Matt after, then did some L7, hips and abs. Had to wait for my mom to pick me up from practice... havnt done that since junior year. It was kinda funny. Rolled when I got home.
30 high crunch alt w/ 1:30 plank.
