LONG RUN WEEK 1 - GOOD GOING OUT - COMING BACK INTO WIND AND TOUGH - I THINK I AM WEAK IN THE CORE BECAUSE WHEN I STIFFEN UP MY MID SECTION AND POSTURE, PACE PICKS UP - MAINTAINED PACE OF ABOUT 8:45-9:00 IN EARLY MILES AND FINISHED LAST COUPLE AT ABOUT AN 8:15 - THIS IS WHAT THEY ARE SAYING IN TRAINING BOOKS THOUGH IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO KEEP THE SLOW PACE EARLY ON - NOTE: WHEN MAINTAINING SLOW PACE MAKE SURE RUN EFFICIENTLY - SEEM TO GET LAZY WITH BOTH POSTURE AND TURNOVER WHICH YOU DON'T FEEL EARLY ON BUT GETS TO YOU WHEN YOU PICK UP PACE LATER IN RUN.
