Ok so I knew doing a tempo the day before my long run was a stupid idea, but I pretty much screwed myself by taking off Monday and Tuesday of this week, so it had to be done. I bought new racing shoes and didn't feel great in them, but I don't really feel like I should judge them on today's run because it was so slow and I ran yesterday in old flats so my feet were probably a little fucked up to begin with. The positive thing: it's over. To The Snug!
