PRE + Hayward + Hendricks

January 25, 2009 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: mid-30s, mist/drizzle

Comments:
Woke up at 0630, uploaded some pics and sent some emails, then did circuits before heading for the run.

My goal was a "long run" -- something over 4-5 miles. Per usual I started in East Alton. Right away I ran past Ritzenheim as he was headed E into Springfield. I felt my patellar tendon come on at the 7min mark or so. It got achy but never worse than that. Ran my way across PRE to the Autzen Bridge and across.

I ran to Hayward and once there, did drills and plyos in the East Grandstand. They went pretty well -- they're getting better. Upon leaving, I saw Ritz and his CACH again on Alder St outside the stadium. Damn guy is stalking me! :)

I ran the ol' loop, up Alder to 24th, then around the base of Hendricks before heading back via Knickerbocker. The knee soreness dissipated after the drills and was scarcely there the 2nd half of the run. AWESOME.

Finished up at home with a 7-miler, pain-free. DOUBLE AWESOME.

I immediately packed up and went to Anytime to lift. Got in a good lift, with some sit-ups afterwards. Was gonna hit up Carson for lunch buffet, but I'm a bit buffet'ed out, so I dieted. Went shopping at Winco then came home and ate a bunch of stuff.

GOOD DAY. It's hard to believe I might start "building fitness"!!!!!!!1111oneoneoneIIiI
