  Comments: 
Biked from the house down US101 to the Cummins Ridge TH (6.5mi), stashed the bike, then ran.  The sign said a 2.5mi dirtroad to the trail -- all of which was uphill.  Took ~20min going easy, so I think it was shorter than that.  
The trail was nice -- an overgrown dirt road (30y old?) with a single track down the middle and a nice tree canopy along Cummins Ridge.  Uphill 95% of the way 'til the very end, when it began some ridgeline ups/downs.  Turned back at 48min.  Flew on the way down - moderate on the trail, then I really opened it up on the dirt road - perfect descent grade.
Up:  20 road, 28 trail
Down: 18 trail, 11 road
If it was 2.25mi on the dirt, that equates to about 4:45 pace... :p
Then biked back.  Good day!
