Comments:
This felt great. The start of the run is uphill and into the wind, brutal, but after the first 4 miles I settled into a good pace. Felt like I could have run forever. That is a great feeling, especialy when it is my first long run of my real training. The loop we ran was great. It was a good balance of long hills, stretches of flat, and some rolling hills at the end to really work the quads. I had no problem running 8:45's for the last 4 miles. That is good for me. I am going to try to go 15 next weekend and hopefully it goes this well.
