Comments:
Wasn't really looking forward to this run -- yesterday was HARD and I was fearing another gut full of big climbing. But I went for it, for an "easy 10".
Did the same as yesterday, though just Tim and me. Ran the canal and the big climb to 4 corners -- today it actually felt MUCH better, which was weird. Wonder if it was because Tim was running slower... Anyway, from there, it was luxurious singletrack through the conifers onto smooth, banked mtn bike track. Awesome!
Talked more ultra stuff -- WS, fast dudes, etc. Then had a terrific descent down the backside to the reservoir, then the same 400m climb as yesterday to his house.
GREAT run! Tired, yes, but not sore; if anything, I felt better than yesterday.
Post-run: helped Krista out with her knee, then we busted out of town. Great weekend!
