Amazon/Rexius with Mack

Weather: 40s, OK, then hail

Comments:
Woke up at 0700 and were packed and headed out by 0800. Stopped at Voodoo for a 12-pack, then some continental, then hit the road.

We drove directly to Phoenix Inn and ran the old South Eugene loop from there. Quick stop off at Hayward for a lap, then to Rexius + a half lap at Amazon.

Felt GOOD. Stride felt MUCH BETTER today, as I was able to focus on my L LE. Saw a TON of fast runners out and about, including an aging Marla Runyan. She looked to be in retirement mode...

Our pace was pretty uptempo and it felt good, but tiring. We picked it up even more the last mile when it began to hail on us. HARD, at times. It's now a mix of sun and hail this afternoon...classic Eugene "spring".
