SEHS noon track

Did a noon track session again...I'm thinking about doing these in the AM, but...not yet.

Wanted to revisit the 500/200 workout that I did a few weeks back. It's good physically and mentally to re-do workouts to chart progress.

I was behind the eight-ball a bit today, though:

1.) NO allergy meds all week. Supz tired today, but I've been lucky because it's been misting.
2.) I forgot light shoes today, so I was wearing the "heavy" Speedstars. After 4 days of running in the 1400s, they felt clunky as shit.
3.) Carb-free. Eggs for breakfast, no fruit or anything pre-workout (1PM).

Did about 2mi warm-up and x5 strides, then went after it.

Rest interval between the 500s-200s was about :45-55 s, and about 2-2:30 between sets (400m jog). Splits:

90.1, 32.9
90*, 2.8
91.3, 32.3
90.0, 30.8

*missed split on watch

Overall, SOLID splits. The 500s were a good 2-4s faster than when I last did this workout on 2/20, which was great. I also did the workout "backwards" again, focusing on the "L pushes R".

Post workout: Ugh: some ab soreness...hope it's not from "holding on"...
