AM PRE + 1min farleks x9

Woke up at 5, but took FOREVER to get my ass moving. Might've been due to my new allergy med (Singulair) making me drowsy...or I'm just tired.

Once I finally got moving, I felt OK. I had a lecture today at lunch time, so there'd be no noon track session. So I decided to do an AM hard session.

Thought about some hill repeats, but I wanted to capitalize on my good "pooping out the back" mechanics, so I decided on some hard 1 minute fartlek pick-ups with equal rest (on a timer).

Ran about 2.5 warm-up, then went after it. I felt like, after the first 1-2, I really pushed pretty hard. I did some mapping I think I was rolling about 300m for a minute, which is about 5:20 pace...but I felt faster than that...

Rolled through the PRE plain and back toward the park, I decided I'd keep doing them 'til I ran out of trail. Thankfully it was "only" 9 of them.

Jogged a mile back to the apt.

Was drowsy and tired all morning, but no SUPS ALLERGZ. Had a GREAT TIME doing the Lecture (flexibility and low back pain) at NW Christian. It's really fun to teach. I'd love to find a way to do it, consistently. Coty (the instructor, and a former patient of mine), said they're hiring... Ugh...more conflict about leaving!!
