Good travel home. Had a blast meeting and talking with Samantha Murphy. Saw her at PDX - cute runner girl. Then I saw her in line for my plane with a UO shirt on, so I started talking to her. Then, turns out we sat next to each other! Very random, but sweet.

Chatted for the entire 45 minutes...a little "gaming" on my part, but just rapport building. Turns out she's a fucking 2:02 800 runner (close 5th at NCAAs), and just transferring here. Really good time, nice girl. B-)

Overall, feels good to have some mojo back, for sure. Great weekend+.

Once back: I wanted to run again to work on my stride. I'd been shorting my hips so bad, that I needed to practice opening them.

This run was a 180 compared to this morning. Rather than spiking my HR at 160 running 8:30 pace (in humidity with shitty hips), I was running 6:30 in more dry (but still humid!) conditions, with good hip extension.

Got gut rot and had to deuce, so I cut it short.
