1st day of practice

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: high 50s, dry

Comments:
BUSY day at work, then hauled over to practice. After about a 20min meeting with the whole team, we split up for the run. I ran with a couple kids on a BLAZING fast start...sheesh, WTF?? Wound up running most of it with Cian, a kid who's been a patient of mine for >4 years. I got him to go out for track to clean up his run stride, as soccer is by far his #1 sport. He and I ran easy, then ran with a couple girls for a while.

After the easy run, I regrouped with the varsity runners, who were starting their SEASON with a 20minute hard tempo, then some 300m hills. Watched the tempo, then jogged over to the hill to watch them do the repeats.

Finally, at 5:45 I peeled away because I wanted to go to yoga and see Chels. I had to HAUL ASS to get back to my truck: it felt GREAT to get down to 6-flat for a while!

I got to class just in time. Good class: nice and HOT in the studio.

She was pretty cold with me, just really NOT happy to see me. Ugh. Stressed out, but just...cold. Rushed to get out of there 8 sec after class, so we barely talked. Ugh...

She's withdrawing again...
