Sheldon Track Session

Weather: HOT! Yikes.

Comments:
Pretty good AM of work. Had ten patients in a row and managed to keep up on my paperwork enough to be out of there at about 1215. Met Jeff at the track. He had "g0uads back" so he only did the warm-up with me and took off.

Still TIRED and TRASHED from the 10K, and from the 4-mile AT on Thursday. On top of that, it was a bit breezy and getting warm FAST -- which is the m.o. of Eugene in the summer. From noon to 2 it'll routinely go from about 65-70 to 80-90.

Keeping in mind Sean's mantra of "only run hard with a PURPOSE", I kept the session light today: 2x K, then 4x 200 with a "fast" 200m in between.

The ROR Ks:

1:13, 34, 1:13
1:14, 35, 1:14

Then the 200s

34(41), 35(40), 34(42), 34(x).

I was BOILING after the 2nd K, and again after the deuces. And trashed, too; I used my R calf too much on the 1st K and it was sore the rest of the workout. Oh well.

Tired but quick on the cool-down, then home. Really wanted to hit 2 Friends for their lunch pizza buffet, but it ended at 2 and I got home at about 2:05. F.

Circuits at home, late lunch, nap. Still tired as fuck.
