After an easy week (zeros Sun-Tue, then 1.5 Wed, 2.5 Thu, and 6 Fri), it was time to get after it again. Need to see if I can get in the requisite work (and more importantly, if my body can respond) to run another 50 in three weeks.

Felt strong, but it was tough. Pushed it pretty hard, early, then had to really "balance" strong running versus out-of-this-world HR. It got a little out of hand at the end, but...this was pretty "typical" for how I used to run a Wednesday Hardesty Up/Down. Solid split: about 3min off my best ever, but it was somewhat muddy, and I no doubt have LS50 fatigue. Fasting might've hurt me, as I didn't eat anything since last night (other than heavy cream in the AM coffee).

Went EASY on the descent and still split :40.

Jogged nearly a mile, pre-run, then walked after

Rest of the day: ate, napped, then worked a BOATLOAD on my race report. Was a nice, relaxing day.
