slow-ass tempo

Woke up pretty stiff and tired. THOUGHT this would go better, after a day off, but the combo of NOT running, then staying up too late didn't bode well.

I actually SHOWERED before the run to loosen up. I thought that helped, but I still felt sluggish on the warm-up.

Also I had to DEUCE really bad and, damn it, all the park bathrooms are now locked (they used to be open in years past, this early). Had to scramble around to find a port-a.

Finally got into the tempo, really focusing on the same effort as a week ago. I could feel I was slipping >6, but I was pretty dismayed to look at my splits:

6:05, 6:09, 6:08

UGH.

My back was stiff...so it leaves me wondering if my gluts were de-activated again. They (and my hamstrings) felt pretty "worked". Ugh. Thank god I've got a PT appt on Friday. This shit can't stand, man.

Ran home...in half-tempo: like 6:30-:50 pace, at a HR of about 160. Felt good.
