Weather: 75, not too hot

ANOTHER long day, with NO breaks! Brian observed again today, and I invited him for an easy run after work. He ran along, and damn, I was TIRED. Not much convo.
DAMN, he has a LOUD footstrike! He's wearing Altra whateverZ and was just slapping like crazy! The guy is like 130lb too! Hmmm... Highly doubtful I was in the 130s HR, but it felt easy enough.
Forgot the HRM so I wasn't sure of the effort, but we were rolling, per my watch, 7:30 miles. Not sure what happened, but it seems like the watch is accurate again. Did NOT feel like 7:30...and Brian's watch was LONGER than mine. Hmmm...
After the run, I hustled home to meet with Mike, my coaching client. He's running Waldo, so we came up with a plan for the next 6 weeks or so, pre-race. Emphasis on the course long runs, vert, and occasional quality (200s, strides, etc). The goal is to log a solid finish (and WS qual), not get hurt, and build toward the rest of the year/2015. I think he'll do well.
