Treadmill powerhike!

Yesterday: I was pretty sore on the Hardesty descent, and the achilles felt "vulnerable" the rest of the day...but was OK at night, OK this am, and OK at lunch. But I hiked, instead.

Hiked 30min solid at 15% grade, took a brief break, then 30min again! BIG focus on straigtening out the foot, engaging the ball and having a strong calf push. Up top: keeping the mid-back arched and neck in neutral.

I taped OVER my socks, which was nice to avoid the skin contact+irritation.

Damn, though, I'm CRAZY-TRASHED in my quads! Overall: 15% grade, 3.8mph, 62min (so about 3.9 miles and >3000' of climbing! Holy shit! (5280' x 4 x 0.15 = 3088')

PM: good yoga session, then some hang-out with CA. Tough to find balance right now between spending time with her and my mounting responsibilities.
