Rested today: no cycling, swimming or power-hiking. The "achilles" was quite sore today...and on the "other side".

Ugh.

It's so my ankle. I think what's truly happening: the distal tib-fib ankle joint continues to get irritated and it "dumps" inflammation all over those muscles: both the achilles and post tib on the inside and the peroneals on the outside. That's why the symptoms change all the time AND will be really bad, then OK quickly.

On top of that, when I try to stretch it, the joint is super-stiff and I get stabbing pain through the bottom of my heel.

I think I need a brace: the horseshoe loop one Mike wanted to give me, the last time it acted up. Maybe then I can actually run!

Can't remember what I did...a lot of work and writing, methinks. CA went for a super-long run, early.
