ZERO MOTIVATION this morning. When I'm alone and I've got nothing to do, my energy and motivation just TANKS. That's the worst part about being out here right now: not enough VARIETY of things to do, to keep me busy, and to keep me HAPPY. This could be a problem if I continue to let it develop...
Woke up at 0630, did circuits, then dicked around 'til after 9 before finally dragging my ass out the door. Like last Saturday, I was VERY TIRED to begin with but I focused on just keeping it EASY, knowing that this should be my "zero day". But...it's not, because I want to hit 100 this week.
NO IDEA what I was gonna do this weekend. I thought about bailing town and heading up to Waldo for an overnight. Therefore, I did my "Sunday" route -- sort of -- this morning: along Fairmount to Rexius. But unlike Sunday, I turned around at Fox Hollow and did a half lap around Amazon (no Amber) and cruised home.
A few deuce stops today. Too much fiber last night, and today.
The legs didn't feel great -- they had their moments of "awesome" and "garbage" -- but overall they were fine. I cruised very relaxed, with a pace anywhere from 6:50 to 6:30...can't BELIEVE how easy that feels.
As of this writing it looks like I WILL do the 15-mile tempo tomorrow, against my better judgment. Why? The biggest reason: MEETING PEOPLE. It's pathetic, but at least I'll be able to run for a couple hours with some good runners... :s
I may still bail...but I'll probably do it...because I'm an idiot...
