Weather: 60, misty, humid
Comments:
Woke up really stressed an anxious. Might've been from the busy, rushed end of the weekend and the needed time to get things done. Got a few good things done before work, then had a good morning.
I wasn't sure what I wanted to do, given how tired and sore I was from the weekend of trail running and trail work, but once I saw the light mist outside, I knew it'd be a prime day for a tempo...except that I forgot my watch. Ooops.
So I went by feel: easy mile to EWEB, x4 strides, emphasizing the pelvic and trunk stability, then off I went.
It felt pretty good, and controlled. Breathing was 100% controlled, but I could tell (or perceived) I might've been pushing the HR. Nevertheless, I felt great and ran 19:13 for the DeFazio 5K loop. Solid time. It's starting to drop!
Easy jog back to work.
PM: mentoring with Jeff on TMJ stuff, which is personally applicable to me! No workout in the PM
