Comments:
Solid trail work day. Drove to the Bend side, then up to the Maiden Lake TH. This is the entry point for AS workers to get to Maiden Lake AS (mi 55), and it had to be hand-cleared with cross-cut. Word was there was 17 logs down, and that was correct.

HOT and STEEP. Not sure what the elev gain, but I think it was about 1500' or more over 3 miles. Had a couple problem logs, but once we figured out how to correctly wedge 'em, it went fast. Didn't have to go up Leap of Faith trail, which was awesome!

Took from 10:30am to about 3:45....but our day wasn't quite done...
