Pool shallow water run

December 8, 2015 (Afternoon)

Exercise Type: Swim

Comments:
...jogged over to Oakway to do shallow water running. Felt next-to-nothing on the 0.25mi jog over, then did a boat load of shallow (like belly-deep) jogging, so I could work the arms quick. Mild soreness, but minimal. No flare-up afterward.

I'm motivated and hungry to train and race hard, and I'm not overly fearful of this, but I'm taking it seriously. I feel like I need a good 6-7 HARD efforts - maybe not long runs - to steel the body for the level of effort I'll need to run at Bandera. So even if I can't get big miles, I need to be healthy enough for the intense sessions.

PM: sore with DF stretching, but not bad. Definitely responded well to the pool, but I'll likely need some more cross-training days...
