Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
BLEH day: no study in the AM, then no study at lunch (shortened due to a presentation). I had a gym visit right before lunch, so I changed and jogged the 0.25 mi over, instructed the weight session, then jogged back.

Foot was moderately sore today, which was annoying. So I didn't run. Worked 'til 5, then hustled home to write my UR column. Got that done in record time, then relaxed with CA and was in bed early.

I was pretty down last night about it, just FRUSTRATED. But upon further review, there's nothing surprising or unfair:

- I started running with SHITTY for. AGAIN. I figured it out, but more important, CALLIE figured it out...so maybe she can help me more than I can help myself>
- I did a bunch of stupid things: I blew it off in mid-December
- I ran 105 miles in 7 days on it
- I failed to get fast (massage) treatment at Christmas.

THEN, I failed to truly let it rest:

- I didn't consistently tape it (it needs tape ALL DAY until like 90%)
- I tried to "run normally" on it, too soon, being way greedy. So when it was getting better, I did 40 miles and THREE workouts (Jan 17-24), which blew it up again
- I'm now getting better...but got inconsistent with taping.
- I've been doing EVERYTHING with trunk left and pelvis right (overloading the left side) until just Sunday.

So now:
- I'm properly aligned (stand, walk, run)
- I'm supporting the foot (taping every day)
- I'm being smart about running (0-3 mi a day)

And it's now getting better. SLOWLY.

So in that context, I haven't been doing the right things for very long...

Still frustrating, though.
