VRC Tempo!

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: was pouring, but dry but humid on my run

Comments:
No AM run. Pollen was way less today because it rained - sometimes pouring - during the AM 'til about noonish. Ran at 1PM on my new schedule 9-6, with 1-2 lunch only).

Felt HEAVY going into it, but I figured I'd do a normal short road tempo. Ran the usual river path, starting with a ramp-up for a half-mile, then 2xmile.

SLOOOOW. Ran like 3:16 for the half-mile, then 6:20, 6:22...all at about 165-170 HR. Eeek. But I need to remember my weekend:

- 4.5 hour, 5K vert long run Saturday
- 1hr bike ride, hard lift Sunday

That run definitely let some air out of the "high hopes Sonoma sails", but that's OK.

PM: cranked out some taxes stuff, and TONS of coaching work today, that dragged into the PM. Met with my latest (and LAST for a while) coaching client right after work.
