Weather: 60s and sunny... perfect for racing!
Comments:
I had a good race. It started out pretty fast, 5:16 was our (Carter, Phil, Colin, Brandon, Cromer, Tenley, and Ben) first mile. We stayed together till about the 4k... then we split into too groups. This is about where I started to feel good for being that far into the race. So, feeling confident, I started to push it just after the 5k mark. The last mile was hell though. I held on and passed a number of people. I still need to work on my finish though. Time: 26:44
