Weather: 60s, slight mist

Comments:
Good night to run AT: relatively cool, overcast, and slight mist.

...but the legs were LAGGING.

The energy has popped back up from the weekend, but the legs hadn't. Felt decent on the warm-up, but only a 5:55 first mile -- typical for an early AM AT, but not for today. Then just focused on form and easy effort, thinking I'd roll through the 3 mile split with a 11:40 or faster.

WRONG. 12:06! FUCK!

I almost freaked out, but then I rationalized that my legs were still mega-heavy. I did pick it up a bit to finish my 4th in 5:52 but EEK: pretty much my SLOWEST AT of the summer. NOT good timing, but I did the AT, which was EFFORT not speed. The legs will bounce back.

Short cooldown then home. I'll take it...
