September 4, 2016 (Morning)
Exercise Type: Run
Weather: 50s, nice
Comments:
Easy, chill run with CA. Rather than grind the Ridge, we drove down to the Perpetua visitor center to do a loop. Ran EASY along the coastal trail, south (through some amazing "spooky forest") to Cummins Creek, then up-east on that trail, then back on Gwynn.
Felt really good and effort easy. Kept it super-chill for CA, as she's still recovering from Waldo, but to "season the quads", I pushed it a little quicker on the downs, once again.
Really great run, although I like going down Cummins Creek, compared to Gwynn.
Good run!
Rest of the day:
- breakfast along the coast in town
- coffee and croissants at Green Salmon
- some wandering at the Farmer's Market
- work and clean-up at Adobe (again!)
- happy hour drinks at Yachats Brewing
- dinner of shrimp tacos at sundown on the beach
GREAT day!
