September 24, 2016 (Night)
Exercise Type: Run
Weather: sundown, cool
Comments:
Got a bunch done during the day, putting off any exercise or other travel-adventure in favor of getting some shit done. Finally, we packed for the Crater Lake overnight, and headed to get in a run, en route.
Ran from the Westfir TH, a simple out and back on the North Willamette trail. Perfect conditions...but we ran out of daylight! We had a rather quick return mile, but things slowed down when we could barely see. Good "foot proprioception training", though!
Post-run:
- ate salads and had a beer in the parking lot
- wanted burgers from the 58 drive-in but it was closed!
- went to Brewers Union but the food was super mediocre. Oh well
- drove to just outside Crater to camp for the night.
