Weather: nice? sunny and calm, I think

Another solid Thursday noon workout, with the same crew: me, CA, Lewis, Tommy, Evan.
Warmed up a couple miles, no grind mile, then into the 400s. They felt OK, but a bit of a struggle. Lewis led a couple, which helped:

From there, we jogged a couple laps, then went after a "Dr. Wo 8-Minute Mile": 200s on a one-minute clock: hard to the next turn, then standing rest up to a minute. Rough, but a pretty good workout. We decided NOT to do a full mile; instead, both Lewis and I did 6, while the rest of 'em did 4-5:

Felt pretty good, once you get in a groove. It's almost easier to do it this way - the brain doesn't have much time to adjust to either (the pain; the rest).
Good, short workout!
